Properties - Stimulant, astringent, possibly mild antiviral
Common Uses - Drinking tea may ease respiratory congestion, providing relief for colds and asthma. Commonly used to relieve diarrhea.

Locating & Handling - Purchase loose tea or bags at grocery store.
Caution - Should be avoided during pregnancy, due to caffeine content. There is some concern that the tannins in tea could be linked to throat cancer with excessive use. May cause nervousness and insomnia.
